Armada Hoffler Properties
I am a Project Accountant with Armada Hoffler Properties. I have been with Armada Hoffler Properties for a little over three (3) years. I started as a Development Accountant working with the Development Team and the Accounting Team and now in my new role my primary focus is working with the Construction Team accounting and contracts aspects. I am a proud mother of two beautiful young adult daughters as well as my other two daughters through marriage! I have been a member with NAWIC for three years and love the connections we have made and the support in our chapter as well the NAWIC SAR. In my free time I enjoy spending it with my husband, traveling, time with friends, crafting and working my side hustles (wreaths/nail stylist)!
Sprinkle Masonry, Inc.
I have been in the masonry business for 50 years. I am part owner of Sprinkle Masonry, Inc. I have been with Sprinkle Masonry for 33 years. I joined NAWIC when I was seventeen. I had worked all of three days for Stier Masonry, when my sister, Bobbie Harford, drug me to my first NAWIC meeting. I have been a member of NAWIC for 50 years. I have been married for 47 years and I have one daughter and one granddaughter. My hobbies are crafts, reading, baking and making candy.
Corresponding & Recording Secretary
I am a Project Coordinator with Provost Construction, a national general contractor based out of Norfolk, VA. I entered the construction industry in 2003 as an Estimating Assistant. Over the years I have worked in several different sectors of construction management in the private, state, and federal markets. I became a member of NAWIC in 2019 thanks to a former colleague passing the information along. I am grateful for the networking relationships and true friends I have formed in such a short time. In my spare time I volunteer at the local animal shelter, spend time with family, go camping, and work on renovating my home.
Inner Space Systems
RGI General Contractors
Being a part of NAWIC has given me access to meet new companies and learn more about the needs in the construction industry as it relates to women. Helping to support the community efforts and the educational opportunities has been very meaningful.
I am employed by Bankers Insurance, LLC as a Commercial Sales Executive. I have been in the insurance industry for over 25 years. I also have a Certified Insurance Counselor designation that enables me to continually learn the concerns and updates in the insurance industry. I truly enjoy making the difference in my client’s insurance costs. Doing a risk evaluation with my client’s is important to evaluate what coverage they currently have, what coverage they can absorb themselves, and what coverage best protect their assets they have worked hard to obtain.
My family are special to me and I am blessed to have two great daughters and six wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time I like to ride my horse and spend time with my sweet dogs. A glass of local wine at the beach is always terrific as well.
